Tamara,
Gary shared your site with me. I've been dealing with CF and other related immune issues, and all you say is true. I admire your contribution to a cause that it not acknowlegedged and misunderstood. I will check out the books you mentioned. Another good one is "You don't Look Sick. Living Well With an Invisible Illness" (or similar title) by Joy Selack. I enjoyed your music, hopefully one day I'll get a chance to hear you play.

Hi Tamara,
I received your CD as a holiday gift from my "sister" Donna and it is absolutely my favorite of all the presents I received this year. Your hauntingly beautiful voice and insightful, witty lyrics are only eclipsed by the amazing story of your journey to get where you are.
As Carl Jung said, "The afternoon of human life must also have a significance of its own and cannot be merely a pitiful appendage to life's morning."
Best wishes from your newest fan,
Nancy Tracy

I just want to share while listening to a repeat of your interview on KUOW this afternoon, driving home from work, I found myself in the fast lane on I-5 with tears running down my cheeks.
Your story, your way of being and most of all your voice and songs were overwhelming. Thank you for the courage it took to overcome all that stood in your way so that you are able to share yourself through your music.

Hi Tamara,
I'm 00a7370 and got your website info on my post re. traveling. I listened to your samples. They're great! my husband and I love folk music and love the Pacific Northwest and that is where we are thinking of retiring in a year.
We used to go to the McCabe's Guitatar Shop in Santa Monica all the time. It is one of the last small venues to listen to folk in Los Angeles. I can't sit long enough for a show anymore.
It's funny that you are compared to Nanci Griffith and Eliza Gilkison. Those are two of our favorites.
I'll buy a CD soon and forward your website to my hubby and kids who are really into folk too.
Good luck! Keep on keeping on. If and when we go to Seattle again we'll see if / where you are playing.
PS: My oldest daughter is named Tamara.

I caught Tamamra's show for the first time at the Mandolin Cafe, and I was blown away. Her lyrics touched that part of me where no one gets to go. Her beautiful voice was like a cool breeze off crytal blue waters on a hot summer day. Thanks Tamara.

Impressazing! During our childhood days in Beloit, you and I would combine two words into one new word. Looks like you've taken the combining words to a whole new level in creating impressive and amazing lyrics! I'm so happy for you! I've forwarded your website address on to my family and I'm certain they will be just as proud of your accomplishments! Best wishes from us all.

Your friendship continues to be such a source of joy and inspiration. I know of no other who has the kind of courage and drive, that your life continues to demonstrate. Your worthy accomplishments have materialized because of your courageous spirit and belief in yourself.

Hi. Congratulations on your CD.
You have a beautiful voice and your songs are beautiful. I read your story in the CFIDS newsletter and am glad that it has a happy ending, and an exciting new chapter as a singer/ songwriter/ guitarist. I also have CFS (14years) and am recording an album of songs that I wrote with a lot of help from my new musical friends. As you know, the process drains your energy but creating music is so spiritually uplifting. And it gives you hope for the future. I wish you all the best for your new beginning.
Kind regards, Rob.

I read your story and again felt like the others. Your music is so comforting. I am also a therapist and have been sick with CFS for two years. I found that most energy healing modalities have worked the best for me! You are so lucky to have such great musical talent that enables you to express yourself and we are lucky as listeners to have your new CD! I hope to be part of the working field again someday!

Tamara,
I read your story on the CFS website, as I am a regular there. I have been disabled with CFS for over 2 years now, and I just discovered my creative side in painting. Your accomplishments have inspired me to keep on keeping on, and your music just inspires me to keep looking for the light at the end of my tunnel. Thank you so much for you!
